INJURY RECOVERY

Over the coming months we will build up a library of articles relating to the treatment and prevention of GAA specific injuries relating to the lower body.

Obviously there is a corelation with all other ball sports and we will draw on all resources to help players and coaches to correctly diagnose an injury and come up with a recovery plan.

A key area of work will focus on prevention of injury occurring and this will highlight player welfare and adequate rest periods and periods of low intensity work.

We will consult with some of the top GAA Physios in Ireland for advice and to contribute articles over the year.
